Last exam of the week this morning - two essays, two hours. The first one went very well, but the second felt rather weak. I hope the markers don't think I spent all my time on the first one and had to rush on the second, because I allotted my time perfectly. I just didn't have as much to say about The Waste Land as I did about Waiting for Godot.
Waiting to go into the exam, I ran into a bunch of kids from the Mississippi group - the group Sebastian came with - who were in the same room as I. One of the girls said that a British girl from Essex University is going to her (the Mississippi girl's) university next year, which I thought was pretty neat. I would like to show a British exchange student around an American campus, especially since I can guess what they might have difficulty adjusting to now : P
After the exam I finally got to indluge in a nice long nap. And tonight I will not set an alarm. My next exam isn't til Thursday, so I think some slacking off is in order. Read considerably more in The Princess and the Goblin. I can't believe I read that book in third or fourth grade. The language is tricky - or would be for a kid that age. No wonder I don't remember much of the book. I probably spent most of the time reading it looking up words. From reading this book, and The Hobbit, one thing is made abundantly clear to me: kids a hundred years ago had a higher vocab level than they do today >.<
Other things I did: Watched the second deathnote movie. Ate far too many sweets. Wrote the outline for the next whatever-it-is I'll write.
Tomorrow: laundry day. stop the presses.
