Last night just after I went to bed, there was an amazing storm. The lightning alone was astonishing. There wasn't any thunder for quite a while, but when it did come, it was very loud. But because the lightning was silent for such a long time, I didn't know what was going on. It was really really bright. I was wondering if someone had a search light or something and was pointing it at the tower. But no, it was just lightning making it look like day outside. A very creepy, white lit sort of day, but day nonetheless.
Turns out Phil's Vickie's and Sophie's windows don't leak. They're just that badly made. Also, the brick the tower is made of is porous. The accomodations office sent a guy to look at it, but he said he couldn't do anything. However, the heat was fixed today (it's been out since sunday), so their carpets are finally drying.
It was pretty chilly today. I studied. A lot. Tomorrow my exams will be OVER and I'll get to watch the DVD Vickie made! yay!!!
