busy day.

I stayed in bed as long as i possibly could today. That's because I planned to write a paper when I woke up.... blech.

So I woke up and went to the library, looking for a book of Yeats' plays and essays and things that the bookstore didn't have. The view from the top floor of the library is really spectacular on a sunny day like today. I didn't take a picture because the windows were lined with people studying. But you can see both lakes and much of the grounds.

In a stroke of luck, I found the exact book that the lecturer for Yeats had been using in class on Monday. For once the library comes through. I checked it out and I'm totally gonna hoard it til class next Thursday.

After that I got lunch on campus because I was out of food in the dorm. Tried a chicken panini this time. Pretty good, but I like the cheese and tomato one better. Then I went grocery shopping and bought turkey, cheese, tomato soup, bread, mouthwash, pasta sauce, doritos, rice, and Jaffa cakes (Lisa your description was 100% accurate!). Don't you guys just love getting my list of groceries? It's exciting, i know...

Then I sat down to write the paper. I finished it too. Or at least, I wrote a conclusion. The thing is 2000 words long, which is 500 words less than the minimum... not sure how strict the are about that here. I'll ask around. But I really can't think of anything else to write. I mean, the topic wasn't that broad to begin with. If I'd gotten that prompt without a word count, I'd have said 4 pages tops. Mine is 7 pages.

With the paper finished, i've just been reading webcomics and waiting to hear about Issma...

tomorrow: church and school reading.
